Our Services for Children with Disabilities department is seeking a Program Manager for our Early Care and Education Inclusion Program. Funding for this position is provided through First Things First.


Early Childhood Education Inclusion Program Manager - Special Education: The Inclusion Program Manager implements and monitors the delivery and quality of onsite consultation and coaching of preschool and early education centers by Inclusion Coaches as part of a management team. Work  responsibilities include:  work with First Things First staff to assure compliance with all procedures and requirements; recruit, hire, and train staff; design and modify program evaluation measures; coordinate coaching and training activities; maintain regular communication with child care center directors and staff to assure full understanding of program commitments and responsibilities;  work with AzEIP, DDD, and LEA providers to establish procedures for collaborating when a child with an IFSP or IEP is enrolled in a child care setting; provide reflective supervision of coaching staff in their work with individual classes/centers; assist with center goal-setting; and assure that all reports are submitted to FTF in an accurate and timely manner. 


Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Intervention, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or other related fields. Master’s Degree preferred.

A minimum of four years experience providing special education and/or early intervention services to young children ages 0-5 and their families. Knowledge and expertise in adult learning and coaching models. Supervisory experience preferred.  

Excellent written and oral language skills, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
