Overview

We are seeking an independent self-starter with a positive attitude to join our team as the Administrative Assistant. This position will support the EHS-EHSCCP-HS Director.

 

Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for diverse administrative duties as well as providing support through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The position will include interacting with program parents who are participating in Head Start program governance activities. This position also includes special projects, attending meetings/taking minutes, ordering office supplies, drafting correspondence, participating in accounts payable, making travel arrangements, and coordinating schedules/meetings/facility arrangements.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be flexible; able to prioritize multiple tasks; capable of independent judgment and high-level performance while working to meet daily deadlines; an accomplished communicator with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; attention to detail; and possess excellent computer skills to include all Window applications. Experience with data entry and MIP/or other non-profit accounting software is helpful.
