Overview

Southwest Human Development is seeking an experienced mental health professional with a master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family counseling for a position as an early childhood mental health professional to work in our Expulsion Prevention and Continuity of Care Contract for the state of Arizona.

Responsibilities

This position will require working with families, child care centers, Tribal Nations, homeless shelters, group homes and family home providers who provide program services to children birth to twelve years of age. The mental health professional position will also assist with providing resources, trainings and technical assistance services for early care and education providers on a variety of topics related to expulsion prevention and continuity of care. Driving required.

Qualifications

Masters degree in mental health or related field and licensed or license eligible by AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners preferred.
