Overview

 

Do you want to help improve the quality of Arizona’s early care and education community? Southwest Human Development is seeking to fill the following key position as we continue to expand our program:

 

  • Quality First Assessor - Conducts early childhood classroom observations using the Environment Rating Scales and Classroom Assessment Scoring System tools. Composes detailed observation reports to support ongoing efforts to increase the quality of child care centers and family child care homes in the state of Arizona.  Statewide travel is required. English/Spanish bilingual preferred. Salary Range: 41K – 43K.

Qualifications

 

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education, child or family development, social services or related field.

 

Minimum of five years experience working as a teacher, trainer, or primary care provider in an early care and education setting with infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers preferably in early care and education settings. Statewide travel is required.

 

Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

                                                           

Reliable transportation and proof of current auto insurance required.
