We are seeking a Family Support Specialist for the new Building Resilient Families program.  The Building Resilient Families program provides supportive in-home services for families referred by the Department of Child Safety.  These families have been identified by the Department of Child Safety as potential and low-risk for child abuse and neglect.  The children have been deemed as safe and the case has been approved for closure. 







The Family Support Specialist conducts a Family Needs Assessment, develops an Individual Service Plan, offers parenting training using Nurturing Parenting program, and helps the family engage in community resources.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Child Development, Health/Nursing or related field required.


Microsoft Word, Windows experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.


Bilingual English/Spanish required.
